About Metro Vancouver Recycles
Metro Vancouver, the regional authority that deals with garbage collected from Lions Bay to Langley, created Metro Vancouver Recycles to make it easy for you to donate or recycle the stuff you no longer want. Together, we’ll find a way to keep that stuff out of the trash.
If someone else can use your items, sell them online. We have some helpful links to get you started.
Or use Metro Vancouver Recycles to find places to donate your stuff. Look for the green “REUSE” pins in your search results. If your best option is recycling, our database will help you find the closest business that accepts your material. Look for the blue “RECYCLE” pins.
We’ve included services to help businesses as well. Click on the “I AM A BUSINESS” tab at the top of the web page.
Tell us what you want to keep out of the trash. The more you use Metro Vancouver Recycles, the closer we’ll all get to our Zero Waste Challenge goal of rescuing 70% of the materials destined for the dump by 2015.
